Christmas in Spring

For no reason other than the mere feeling that time passed by so quick...

I am listening to Christmas carols right now, at this moment.

Birthday

Tomorrow is my birthday.

At this point of my life I should have decided for my future.

I thought I already did.

But then again, I'm not so sure about that.

Am I already getting into my mid-life crisis?

Comment

I never thought a single written comment could bring happiness.

I never thought that someone would actually read my blog either. Someone who is not my close friend whom I forced to read my blog. Someone who is my friend who pretended to have read my blog and would say "that was good."

I am putting online the journal I wrote during the pilgrimage I did last year, 2008, to Santiago de Compostela. I got 1 comment today and the feeling is so great and rewarding.

I think I will write more.

El Camino de Santiago de Compostela - My Story

It was on TV one afternoon—a man trekking a deserted dirt road, on a sunny day, with only a walking stick and a backpack. There was nothing else to see but a lonely road leading to what seemed to be nowhere. I was curious. It intrigued me. That one, short scene got stuck in my mind for years.

El Camino De Santiago. The Way of St. James.

2009 Action Plan

My friend sent me a text message.

"You should buy the new book, "2009 Action Plan" by Suze Orman."

Umm, I think I'll pass.

I already have a plan. I just need to act on it.

Uneasy on New Year's Day

It's new year's day. I thought I'd start something new. Something I haven't done in my life before.

I did.

While listening to Christmas carols, I brought down my Christmas tree, blinking lights, garlands, elves and other decors. It's new year, and Christmas is over. So I kept all all my Christmas decorations and now I have a simple and organized living room on this first day of the year.

It's a bit odd but it feels like a total fresh start.

It feels great.
